The esteemed Mr. Marcelo Calbucci, founder of the Seattle 2.0 site where I occasionally blog, is putting together a very cool event next month called Startup Day. I would attempt to describe it, but knowing me I would probably butcher it, so here’s the official description shamelessly pulled from the front page of the site:
StartupDay 2009 is the conference for pre-entrepreneurs interested in founding or joining a tech startup. Learn what’s important for creating a tech business from scratch. Meet one-on-one with advisors. Learn how to pick the right idea, build your team, fund the business, build your product, bring it to market and make a profit.
I just signed up today, and I’m glad I did because today is the last day to get the early-bird pricing. If you’re interested, you can sign up at http://www.startupday.com. Hope to see you there!
